Our story

Built one shipment at a time.

MM Cargo Services was founded in 2014 by Danny Kapasa with a focused brief: build a logistics company that small operators could rely on and large enterprises could scale with. No middlemen, no surprises in the invoice, no shipment that goes quiet for a week.

Today MMCS is a full end-to-end freight, customs, and procurement partner. We run our own fleet of super-links, tautliners, low-beds, and car haulers. We hold AEO certification with SARS, manage two warehouses totaling 2,000m² in Johannesburg, and clear cargo across the SADC region every day of the working week.

What hasn't changed: every client still gets a direct line to a person who knows their account. Logistics is a relationship business. We've built ours one shipment at a time.

Our mission

To deliver innovative, customized logistics solutions that enhance our clients' supply chains — efficient, cost-effective, and built on relationships that last beyond a single shipment.

Our vision

To be Southern Africa's transport and logistics partner of choice — supporting our clients through reliable, transparent, and personalized service that creates lasting value on both sides of the contract.

Core values

Five things we refuse to compromise on.

01

Integrity

We tell you what we know, what we don't, and what it'll actually cost. The same answer whether you're a first-time client or our largest account.

02

Customer focus

Every shipment has someone whose name you'll know. We answer the phone, return the email, and follow up when we said we would.

03

Accountability

When something goes sideways — and in logistics, sometimes it does — we own it, fix it, and tell you what we changed to make sure it doesn't happen again.

04

Partnership

Our best client relationships are ten years old. That doesn't happen by accident. It happens because we treat their supply chain like our own.

05

Excellence

Good enough isn't. We measure ourselves on transit times, claim rates, and how often clients refer us. Those numbers are the only ones that matter.
